Yes/No Questions in Simple Present

Para hacer preguntas cuya respuesta sea Sí o No en el presente simple debemos usar los auxiliares Do y Does. Does para los pronombres HE (él), SHE (ella), IT. Do para I (yo), You (tú, usted, ustedes, vosotros y vosotras), We (nosotros y nosotras), They (ellos y ellas).

Como tal estas palabras no tienen un significado que se pueda traducir al español, pero se usan para indicarle a la otra persona que estamos preguntando sobre algo del presente. Si quieres conocer más sobre este tipo de preguntas, visita la lección sobre Yes/No questions. Ejemplos:

1.      › Do I look like my brother? / ¿Me parezco a mi hermano?

2.      › Do you like fishing in the afternoon? / ¿Te gusta pescar por la tarde?

3.      › Does he remember to wake you up every day? / ¿Él se acuerda de despertarte todos los días?

4.      › Does she speak more than 4 languages? / ¿Ella habla más de 4 idiomas?

5.      › Does it snow in Ecuador? / ¿Nieva en Ecuador?

6.      › Do we need to call her before the meeting? / ¿Necesitamos llamarla antes de la reunión?

7.      › Do they sing their favorite song every morning? / ¿Cantan su canción favorita cada mañana?
