Write a paragraph about a time you were scare in 100 words.

When I was a boy, my friend and I used to ride our bikes all around the town where we grew up. Since the town was so small—it only had 7,000 people—there wasn’t always a whole lot to do. So, we would make our own fun. One day, we rode our bikes to the local fishing pond. While pedaling along the dirt path that circled the pond, we suddenly smelled something terrible. Naturally, being young boys, we were instantly curious about the source of the smell. After a brief search, we identified what it was: a dead fish had washed up onto the dirt shore and laid rotting in the hot summer sun. Again, being young boys, my friend and I decided the best thing to do was to spear the fish onto a stick and carry in into town, like a flag. I declined the honor of carrying the flag, so my friend rode ahead of me, proudly displaying the fish. It may seem strange and disgusting to some, but to me, that day represented everything great about childhood in small-town America.
